The Bible assures us that if we believe in Jesus, we will be saved.
Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of
Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in him may have
eternal life.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever
believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send
his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands
condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only
Son." John 3:14-18
They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you
and your household." Acts 16:31
The "prayer of salvation" is the most important prayer we will
ever pray. When we are ready to become a Christian, we are ready to have
our first real conversation with God! When we pray the prayer of salvation,
we are letting God know we believe God’s Word is true. By the faith
God has given us, we choose to believe in Him. So,
when we pray, asking God for the gift of salvation, we're exercising our
free will to acknowledge
that we believe in Him. That demonstration of faith
pleases God, because we have freely chosen to know Him.
"Dear God, I'm a sinner. I'm sorry for my sins. Forgive me of my sins. I want Jesus Christ to be my Savior. I want to be filled with your Holy Spirit so I may live my life with Your power. In Jesus' name, Amen."
Tell someone ( a friend, your family)
Congratulations in making this major
act of faith in accepting Jesus Christ
into your heart as your Savior. Now
I want you to tell someone that you
just prayed the prayer of salvation.
