Pastoral Care Services
We strive for excellence in service and relationships. First Baptist is intentional when providing opportunities to serve and mindful of needs to be served. We recognize and make room for the people of God to give and receive spiritual, physical and emotional support in all of their sorrows and joys. We provide prayer, funeral and bereavement support, visitation, assistance, guidance, comfort, counseling and many others services to our members and their families as well as the community in times of crisis and during significant life milestones.

“The Lord replied, My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest” (Exodus 33:14).
Of all life experiences, death is often the most painful and challenging that anyone can go through. FBC is available to comfort, direct, and support you during this season of life.
Hospitalization and Convalescence click here
“I was sick and you looked after me…” (Matthew 25:36)
From diagnosis to recuperation, we provide care through visitations.
Baby Dedications click here
“So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord” (1 Samuel 1:28).
Any parent who desires to have a child dedicated must complete our baby dedication form and complete a pre-dedication class covering the purpose and significance of dedicating your child to the LORD. Child dedications are on the second Sunday of each month at the 9:00 a.m. service.
Weddings (Wedding Application Form) click here
“That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh” (Genesis 2:24).
Marriage is a lifelong commitment and should not be entered into lightly. Therefore all who desire to be married and request an ordained minister from The First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens to officiate the wedding ceremony must complete premarital counseling sessions. Sessions must begin at least 9 months prior to your wedding date.
“Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed” (Proverbs 15:22)
Sometimes we go through bad times or emotional problems that we are unable to sort out on our own. FBC’s trained counselor will listen to you and help you find your own answers to the problems you face. Please contact the pastoral care department at
732-828-2009 for appointments.

“Brothers and sisters, pray for us” (1 Thessalonians 5:25).
Prayer is the best way to acknowledge the sovereignty and power of God. Through any of life’s circumstances and challenges, we will pray for you and with you.
