Pastoral Care

Below are common ways that our community receives spiritual, physical and emotional support in all of their joys and sorrows.

Bereavement

“The Lord replied, My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest” (Exodus 33:14).

Of all life experiences, death is often the most painful and challenging that anyone can go through. FBCLG is available to comfort, direct, and support you during this season of life.

Prayer Requests

“Brothers and sisters, pray for us” (1 Thessalonians 5:25).

Prayer is the best way to acknowledge the sovereignty and power of God. Through any of life’s circumstances and challenges, we will pray for you and with you.

Pastoral Care – Health Notification

“I was sick and you looked after me…” (Matthew 25:36)
From diagnosis to recuperation, we provide care through visitations.

Baby Dedications

“So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord” (1 Samuel 1:28).

Any parent who desires to have a child dedicated must complete our baby dedication form. Child dedications are on the fourth Sunday of each month at the 10 a.m. service.

Weddings

“That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh” (Genesis 2:24).
Marriage is a lifelong commitment and should not be entered into lightly. Therefore all who desire to be married and request an ordained minister from The First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens to officiate the wedding ceremony must complete premarital counseling sessions.
