First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens strives for excellence in service and relationships. We recognize and make room for the people of God to give and receive spiritual, physical and emotional support in all of their joys and sorrows. We provide pre-marital counseling, prayer, funeral and bereavement support, visitation, assistance, guidance, comfort, counseling and many others services to our members and their families as well as the community in times of crisis and during significant life milestones.

Bereavement

“The Lord replied, My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest” (Exodus 33:14).

Of all life experiences, death is often the most painful and challenging that anyone can go through. FBCLG is available to comfort, direct, and support you during this season of life.

Weddings

“That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh” (Genesis 2:24).
Marriage is a lifelong commitment and should not be entered into lightly. Therefore all who desire to be married and request an ordained minister from The First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens to officiate the wedding ceremony must complete premarital counseling sessions. Sessions must begin at least nine months prior to your wedding date.
