FBC SMALL GROUPS

TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER

You might be a member of First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens (FBCLG) for decades.  You might be dating us and considering becoming a member, or you might be new to FBC.  Whatever your status, you are encouraged to connect with an FBC Small Group because God created us to experience life and live out our Faith with other people.

WHAT IS A SMALL GROUP?

An FBC Small Group is a gathering of 12-15 people who meet each week in a group members home and spend 10 weeks together reflecting on the Sunday sermon, making friends, and supporting one another.  Small Groups gather in the fall, winter, and spring.

WHY JOIN A SMALL GROUP?

Attending Sunday morning service places us in proximity with each other, but it is not designed to place us in community.  We can easily come in to the worship service week after week without building relationships with the people we sit next to, and live out the Faith isolated from other Christians.  God intended us to live in community (Genesis 1:27).  Small Groups at FBC is designed to enhance the way God intended us to live the Christian faith.  When in groups we grow stronger in the faith, make new friendships, study the bible, pray one for the other, discuss the Sunday message, serve one another, and face life challenges with a group of Christians who are ready to support one another.
