The Let’s Talk: Faith & Mental Health, a virtual conversation with Chairman T.D. Jakes and Friends took place on Tuesday, Nov. 14th at 8 pm ET. Pastor Quick, along with Bishop Jakes, mental health experts, and other leaders of faith discussed challenges, resources, and the support needed to make sure our faith community is healthy and whole.
“We have to begin to think of ourselves not just as men and women of God, but as creatures needing the aid of each other. So, for me, God aids me through a good therapist,” said Rev. Danté Quick, Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens in Somerset, New Jersey.
