BACKGROUND
First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens is pleased to share the heartwarming success of our Thanksgiving Food Donation Drive, which concluded on Monday, November 20th.
The Thanksgiving Food Donation Drive, is an annual initiative organized by our Missions Ministry, aimed to provide essential sustenance and comfort to those in need during the holiday season. Thanks to the overwhelming response from the church community and dedicated volunteers – throughout the months of October and November – we were able to collect an astounding 10,000 non-perishable food items, and packed 350 bags of food.
The Thanksgiving Food Donation Drive exemplifies the spirit of unity and missions ministry, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to making this initiative a resounding success.
The donated items were distributed to local families and organizations within Somerset and Middlesex County. This collaborative effort ensures that many households will have the opportunity to enjoy a festive and plentiful Thanksgiving meal.
