Volunteers are needed for FBCLG New Discipleship Team
Requirement:
– Background Check
– Welcoming and Hospitable Spirit
– Spiritual Gifts Assessment
– Administrative Skills (Preferred)
Volunteer opportunities:
– Designated Friends: Designated Friends in one of our first touch
ministries. This ministry is designed to welcome New Disciples into
the community and walk with them in completing their New
Discipleship process.
– New Disciples Class Instructors: The New Discipleship Class
instructors teach a two-hour course to New Disciples that gives a
brief orientation to the basics of the faith, doctrine, and the church
history and commitments.
– The New Discipleship Admins: The New Discipleship Admins assist
with the administrative aspects of the New Discipleship process. This
will include making calls, sending emails, and tracking the scheduling
of New Disciples to class, Baptism and Right Hand of Fellowship.
They will also help New Disciples get acquainted with the FBCLG
Community Portal.
– Ministry Ambassadors: The Ministry Ambassadors will gain
knowledge of active FBCLG ministries and aid New Disciples in
completing their Spiritual Gift Assessments and get involved in
FBCLG ministries.
